What you can commission

Six ways to work together.

Every project starts with your problem, not with technology. Scope and price are agreed before development begins.

Services in detail
  1. 01

    Idea and prototype

    Who it’s for
Founders and businesses with an app or tool idea who are not sure where to start.
    The problem
The idea lives in your head or on slides. Before investing more, you need to see whether it works.
    What you get
A clickable prototype or first working version, a written scope and a plan for next steps.
    How to start
Describe the idea in a couple of paragraphs: who uses it and what gets better for them. Describe your project →
  2. 02

    App or web application development

    Who it’s for
Businesses that need a mobile app or a browser-based tool for their customers or team.
    The problem
Information is scattered across spreadsheets, emails and paper. Customers can’t self-serve, and tasks are done by hand.
    What you get
A published app or web application on your own accounts, with source code and a user guide.
    How to start
Describe who will use the application and what job it should do. Describe your project →
  3. 03

    Video and content

    Who it’s for
Owners of a product or service who need video, images or store visuals for a launch.
    The problem
A good product goes unnoticed if it isn’t presented clearly.
    What you get
Product video, aerial video, screen recordings and images for the web, social media and app stores.
    How to start
Describe what you want to show, to whom, and where it will be used. Describe your project →
  4. 04

    Workflow automation and AI

    Who it’s for
Small businesses whose teams spend time on repetitive manual steps.
    The problem
Data is copied from one system to another and the same work is redone every day.
    What you get
An agreed automated workflow or AI assistant, documented and under your control.
    How to start
Describe one repetitive task step by step — that is enough to start. Describe your project →
  5. 05

    Further development and maintenance

    Who it’s for
Businesses that already have a working app, web application or website — even if someone else built it.
    The problem
Bugs go unfixed, updates are skipped and new requests are delayed because nobody has time.
    What you get
A maintenance plan: bug fixes, technical updates, store compliance and new features.
    How to start
Describe the solution, where it runs and what needs attention. Describe your project →
  6. 06

    Training: AI agents at work

    Who it’s for
Teams and business owners who want to understand how AI agents can take work off their hands.
    The problem
There are plenty of AI tools, but it is unclear how to use them as autonomous helpers rather than chat windows.
    What you get
Hands-on training, e.g. “How to build self-running agents that do the work for you” — based on your own tasks.
    How to start
Describe who would take part and which tasks you would like to hand to agents. Describe your project →

A closer look · SkyFlux

One number tells you if it’s worth going out to look at the sky tonight.

Our own products are the clearest proof of the process: they follow the same path as a client project.

Problem
Aurora indices, weather forecasts and moon calendars live in different apps. In the evening it is hard to decide quickly whether to go out.
Who it’s for
Night-sky enthusiasts who observe outdoors in the dark — the design respects dark-adapted eyes.
Solution
A “Tonight” score from 0 to 100 with the best viewing window. Every detail is one tap away.
My role
Idea, product design, development, translations, store assets and release — a Nordic Moonlight product.
Status
Available on Google Play. The iOS version is not public yet.

How we work

Clear steps. Your decisions.

  1. You describe the project

You write a few paragraphs. I read them, ask clarifying questions and tell you honestly whether and how I can help.

    Your decisionShall we go ahead?

  2. We agree on scope

A written scope: what goes into the first version, what comes later, the price and the schedule.

Your decisionYou approve the scope and price.

  3. Prototype and development

Short cycles. After each stage you see a working version, not just a report.

    Your decisionFeedback at every stage.

  4. Release and beyond

We launch on the agreed channels, using your accounts. Further development and maintenance are agreed separately.

    Your decisionWhat comes next?

FAQ

Before you get in touch.

What should I write in the inquiry?

Three things are enough: what the problem is, who would use the solution and what a good result looks like. No technical terms needed. If you have examples, screenshots or an existing system, mention them.

Can we start with a small prototype?

Yes, it is often the most sensible start. A prototype shows early whether the idea works and guides later development.

What happens after release?

On release, you get a working solution and a user guide. Bug fixes, further development and maintenance are agreed separately, as you need them.

Studio

From video to software.

Nordic Moonlight began with images. Software is the logical next step: a product has to work, but it also has to be clear and well presented.

Üllar Hendla has been taking photographs for as long as he can remember. Product films, service videos and 4K aerial video followed, along with years of shooting footage for international stock libraries.

Today Nordic Moonlight builds apps and web applications — its own products as well as client work. Idea, design, development and launch visuals come from one place. The work relies on modern web and mobile technology and AI-assisted tools.

Contact

Describe your project.

Write a few sentences about what you want to solve. I’ll reply in writing and ask follow-up questions if needed.

What’s the problem, who will use the solution, and what would a good result look like? Rough notes are fine.
